Connect Slack
Link your Slack workspace to trigger the agent, receive notifications, and approve plans.
Slack integration lets you trigger the agent from Slack channels, receive notifications when sessions complete, and approve Grind mode plans without leaving Slack.
Only team admins can connect or disconnect Slack for the workspace.
Connect Slack
- Go to app.paragon.run and open Settings, or navigate to the Agent page
- Click Add to Slack — or use the direct link: Add Paragon to Slack
- Select the Slack workspace you want to connect
- Review the permissions and click Allow
- You'll be redirected back to the dashboard — the connected workspace name will appear in settings
Invite the bot
After connecting, invite the Paragon bot to any channels where you want to use it:
/invite @paragon-run
What Slack enables

| Automation Triggers | Trigger automations from Slack messages, with optional channel and keyword filters |
| Session Notifications | Get notified in Slack when agent sessions complete or fail |
| Slack Reports | Automations can post formatted reports with status, duration, and PR links |
| Plan Approval | Approve or revise Grind mode plans directly from Slack notifications |
Disconnecting Slack
Go to Settings in the dashboard and click Disconnect next to the connected workspace. This removes all Slack tokens and stops all Slack-based triggers and notifications.
